Enterprise Rent-a-car approached Dealerslink to discuss using the Dealerslink platform to market vehicles directly to dealers.
Dealerslink met with Jim Peters, Enterprise Group Remarketing Manager, at his office in Centennial, CO.
It was determined that it may be beneficial for Enterprise to market their vehicles via Dealerslink for a number of reasons. Enterprise customers would be able to access real-time inventory listings without having to call or fax. Dealerslink’s unlimited trading platform would significantly reduce transaction costs for buyers and for Enterprise.
It has not been determined if Dealerslink Network members favor the move to have Enterprise to join Dealerslink. Dealerslink is gathering member feedback on the matter this week prior to progressing negotiations with Enterprise.
