Getting started with Dealerslink

Joshua Kliethermes, Internet Director at Johnny Londoff Chevrolet first heard about Dealerslink when a local rep walked into his Florissant, Missouri store. Prior to 2018, Johnny Londoff Chevrolet was using vAuto to price and appraise their vehicles. But after a live demonstration and the promise that Dealerslink could replace all the functionality of their current provider at a fraction of the cost Joshua was quick to show Dealerslink to the ownership team.

Switching from vAuto to Dealerslink

Initially, Johnny Londoff Chevrolet switched to Dealerslink because of the cost savings but soon realized that the data sets Dealerslink offers, gives them a better understanding of their local market and the competition.

“Our previous product was looking at their own sources instead of looking deeper into additional sources,” said Joshua. “We utilize Dealerslink a little better than we were with vAuto. It really helped us get a better grasp of and understanding of how we are pricing our vehicles as well as being able to look at the competition.”

Favorite Dealerslink Features

We asked Joshua if he had a favorite tool or feature and it turns out it’s not a tool or feature at all.

“One of the biggest things right now that really stands out to us is the support that I get,” said Joshua. “Their support team makes us so much easier to know if I have an issue or a problem. I can get on a call and I don’t have to jump through hoops to get somebody on the phone. I call them and normally somebody answers the phone within probably two to three rings, and then after that have my issue fixed.”

Ease of Use

“If you’re considering Dealerslink, as I’ve said a couple of times, is support, but also the ease of use of the product,” said Joshua. “When you log into the product and you see a very streamlined interface. You want to get to inventory and see your books? You click on the inventory, click on the vehicle and you have your books. So having a streamlined product like they do really makes it nice for the end user.”
